Maybe you've lost a part of you

Maybe you've lost a part in finding yourself back again

Maybe the lost part has made you what you are today

Maybe it has taught you to live another hopeful day

 

A possession that was prized

Always making your true self hide

Maybe it was once the dearest part of your soul

But in fact it had a job to heal you of the heart that had a hole.

 

Maybe you always saw it as the devil inside of you

But even the devil was a fallen angel who was meant to bring out the truth.

 

Maybe you've shed enough tears,

For your loss, for all your fears

But believe that it's time for an epiphany,

That was waiting by your side for long long years.

 

The lost part of your soul was important for you to miss

Because it was meant to pull you out of that dark abyss.
